“I can use the mixing desk, use the computer, speak through the mic and many other things.

I have gained confidence, made friends with other people and I have enjoyed myself. It has been an experience!”

The Future

DBBC will continue to train students who will benefit from our course and from any future developments we may pursue. Whatever the circumstances and background of our students our aim will be to help people develop skills and guide them into further education or the work place and, for some of our more disabled students, helping to improve their quality of life will become our goal.

DBBC has been pleased to support 96.5 Bolton FM, the local community radio station. We were able to contribute some of the history required to gain their broadcasting licence and we now also provide technical support and training for volunteers working at the station.

DBBC is fortunate to have been supported by:

The National Lottery

The Heritage Lottery Fund

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust

The Clothworkers Foundation

Paul Hamlyn Foundation

The Trusthouse Charitable Foundation

Souter Charitable Trust

TMF Management (UK) Ltd
